Version 4.0 of Citrix Presentation Server

Download here

To localize version 4.0 of Citrix Presentation Server in Arabic Language, do the following:

Installing to All Sites

The central location for language packs used by all sites is C:\Program Files\Citrix\Web Interface\4.5. To install a language pack to this location:

  • Copy the contents of the pack's languages folder into the C:\Program Files\Citrix\Web Interface\4.5\languages folder.
  • After copying make sure the following files are in the folder “C:\Program Files\Citrix\Web Interface\4.5\languages” :
  • ar.lang
  • common_strings_ar.properties
  • mcmguest_strings_ar.propertiesv
  • metaframe_strings_ar.properties
  • mpssourceimpl_strings_ar.properties
  • pnagent_strings_ar.properties
  • pnagentimpl_strings_ar.properties
  • SslErrorMessages_ar.properties
  • webpnimpl_strings_ar.properties
  • xmlclient_strings_ar.properties

The new language pack will not be available immediately. To recognize the new language pack, restart Internet Information Services using the command iisreset. This terminates any existing server sessions and your sites will be unavailable for a short period of time.

Installing to a Single Site

Individual sites contain languages and localized Content folders that should be populated in a similar way to updating the central location. To install a pack for a particular site, locate the site's installed files on disk and copy the pack's files into the following folders:

  • Copy the contents of the pack's languages folder into the < SiteRoot >\languages folder.

Unlike the central location, by default, sites have no locally-installed language packs. Use the central location for reference if you are not sure about the correct folder hierarchy.

The new language pack will not be immediately available. For the new language pack to be recognized, restart Internet Information Services using the command iisreset. This will terminate any existing Web server sessions and cause your sites to become unavailable for a short period.
