Citrix Web interface through a standard web browser enables users to access their XenApp Published Applications and contents remotely.
As you know, Web Browsers cache the contents of any navigated page the user visits. At the same time, it may cache the form entries, history of all visited pages and more.
The Web Browser does this to improve the user experience by speeding up the site browsing. But this feature is causing a major security problem for IT administrators.
For example, if a company employee would like to access corporate WI portal from internet cafe or kiosk to do his work, he/she may face a problem in which all of his/her navigated data will
be saved by the browser in the client machine he is using. This data can be viewed and used by any unauthorized user who tries to use the client machine after him, which means that the sensitive
data of the company inadvertently exposed to any user who might maliciously miss use it. This is really a serious security problem.

Thanks to "Extentrix Safety ActiveX", IT administrators do not have to worry anymore. The product contains an ActiveX component which will be downloaded and installed in the client machine;
when the user logged off from Citrix Web Interface, Extentrix Safety ActiveX immediately without user interaction cleans all cached data such as the history file, Temp files and cookies. Administrators will rest assure
that no company sensitive data will be inadvertently left behind where others can see or maliciously use.
The "Extentrix Safety ActiveX" package provides the administrator with 4 different methods for deleting cached data which are listed below:
- doDeleteAll: Deletes History, Cookies and Temporary Internet files.
- deleteTemp: Deletes all Temporary Internet files.
- deleteCookies: Deletes all Cookies files.
- deleteHistory: Deletes all history data.
