Extentrix Widget for Citrix Online GoToMeeting is a Meeting organizer that can launch, schedule and manage meetings. It runs on top of Yahoo Widget Engine and provides an easy to use interface to connect to GoToMeeting web service API that enables developers to create integrations with their applications.

The Yahoo! Widget Engine (formerly known as Konfabulator) is a JavaScript runtime engine for Windows Vista, XP or 2000; and Mac OS X that let you run little files called Widgets that can do pretty much whatever you want them to. Widgets can be alarm clocks, calculators, give your current local weather and even organizes your meetings.

Extentrix Widget for Citrix Online GoToMeeting uses SSL, the most secure access method, and fully supports standard Web-services technologies, including HTTPS, XML, SOAP and WSDL.

When the widget is launched, it prompts the user to login using his registered account on the GoToMeeting server.

After an authenticated login a valid connection ID is returned that will be used in any farther operations (create, delete, update, and retrieve meeting or logout).

The widget is also integrated with Microsoft Outlook as its default and the only mail and scheduler application to invite and schedule meetings. The integration is achieved using the Outlook Application COM object.
