Extentrix Smart Detectors Scan Package

With this new version of Extentrix Smart Detectors Scan Package, administrators will have the ability to control what Antivirus(s), Anti-Spyware(s) and firewall(s) should exist on the client’s machine. For example, he can restrict users to have either Symantec and MacAfee Antiviruses installed on their machines. In this case, the checking process will be limited to just two checks. The scan will give administrators the freedom to choose just a list of acceptable AVs and FWs by specifying his / her own interest of AVs and FWs instead of checking for the whole list of AVs and FWs supported in this package, by doing this the process of checking will be faster.

Extentrix Smart Detectors Scan Package extends administrator ability to check for an antivirus and / or a firewall and / or Anti-Spyware, making sure that the antivirus and / or Anti-Spyware are up to date and the firewall is enabled and running on the client machine.

Extentrix Smart Detectors Scan Package provides real time protection and has a comprehensive scan for Antivirus, Anti-Spyware and Firewalls. It detects the existence of Anti-viruses, Anti-Spyware and Firewalls before granting users the permission to access resources. The included Scan Packages are:

• Extentrix User Option FW Scan: This scan will check each firewall defined in Extentrix firewalls supported list, if it exists in the client machine and running.


• Extentrix User Option AV Scan: This scan will check each Antivirus defined in Extentrix Antiviruses supported list, if it exists in the client machine, up to date and running.
  
• Extentrix User Option Anti-Spyware Scan:This scan will check each Anti-spyware defined in Extentrix Anti-spyware supported list, if it exists in the client machine, up to date and running.

• Extentrix Antivirus Scan: It allows the administrator to check if the client machine has Antivirus installed and supported by Extentrix Anti viruses list and ensures that the installed antivirus is up to date.


• Extentrix Firewall Scan: It allows the administrator to check if the client machine has Firewall installed and supported by Extentrix Firewalls list and ensures it is enabled and running on the client machine.
  
• Extentrix Antispyware Scan: It allows the administrator to check if the client machine has Antispyware installed and supported by Extentrix Anti spyware list and ensures that the installed antispyware is up to date and enabled.

      In this version of scan package, Extentrix also increased the list of Antiviruses and Firewalls supported.       And add two new scans for Antispyware.
