Extentrix Safety Scan Package

Extentrix Safety Scan Package supports the
Citrix Access Gateway™ SSL VPN technology, a key feature of Citrix Presentation
Server™ Platinum Edition. Extentrix works with Citrix Access Gateway to provide
end-to-end security and safeguarding for users accessing system resources from
Internet cafes and kiosks, ensuring that the data accessed is not inadvertently left
behind for someone else to view or use.

Through safety scan package, Extentrix worked on
raising the security level for users accessing system resources and made sure that every
temporary data will be deleted after logging out and is not inadvertently left behind for
someone else to view or use.

After logging out, Extentrix Safety Scan Package provides
an ActiveX Control to ensure that the data accessed is not inadvertently left behind for someone
else to view or use. It deletes all the important data as history, cached pages, forms data,
and any sensitive data there.

Extentrix Safety Scan:
Delete all of the cache, history, cookies to make sure the client machine is clean for accessing system resources.

This control
will start to clean again the cache,
history files, cookies after the session with
corporate server is terminated . This to ensure
that the data will not be used by some body
else.

Extentrix Smart Browser Scan- For IE:
Scans for IE version, security options settings and ensures that they meet the
conditions specified by administrators before allowing the client to access the corporate
network. It checks over 26 Options of IE browser configurations which are:
- Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls.
- Binary and script behaviors.
- Logon.
- Download signed ActiveX controls.
- Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe.
- Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
- Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting.
- Automatic prompting for file downloads.
- File download.
- Fonts download.
- Access data sources across domains.
- Allow scripting for Internet Explorer Webbrowser control.
- Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints.
- Display mixed content.
- Don’t prompt for client certificate selection when no certificates
or only one certificate exists.
- Drag and drop or copy and paste files.
- Launching programs and files in an IFRAME.
- Navigate sub-frames across different domains.
- Open files based on contents, not file extension.
- Software channel permissions.
- Submit nonencrypted form data.
- Userdata persistence.

- Allow past operations via script.
- Scripting of JAVA applets.
- Allow META REFRESH.
For example, the user is not allowed to have ActiveX
controls run on his machine, the administrator through this scan can determine by reading
the option value "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins" if it is true then the user will be
denied the access.
