Extentrix Widget 2.0 for Citrix XenApp provides users with advanced settings to customize the Widget to suit their preferences. Ability to open many farms at the same time

The new release of Extentrix Widget 2.0 for Citrix XenApp is enhanced with the ability to deal with more than one farm simultaneously. It enables users to open up to 10 farms together and launch applications from different farms without entering the credentials to each application.

Integration with Yahoo Widget Dock

Extentrix Widget 2.0 for Citrix XenApp takes advantage of the features in the new Yahoo Widget engine 4.0 such as the new widget dock. Through the dock, Extentrix Widget 2.0 for Citrix XenApp displays live info and updates. It displays names of the opened farms, the date, and updates for the Outlook mails, calendar and tasks. Moreover, the Widget in the widget dock changes in color referring to different states or modes of the Widget.

Ability to edit farms’ configurations

Extentrix Widget 2.0 for Citrix XenApp gives users the ability to edit the configurations of already created farms at any time. Users can edit the PNAgent IP address, JavaCodebase, or the type of Authentication of a certain farm with just one simple click. Simple is good!

Auto completion for configuration process

With Extentrix Widget 2.0 for Citrix XenApp, users will not need to remember their full configurations each time they insert a new farm. Now, users insert the IP Address only, and the widget will auto complete the PNAgent URL and the JavaCodebase.

New mixed mode

Extentrix Widget 2.0 for Citrix XenApp allows users to set their Widget in mixed mode. With the mixed mode, all opened farms will be mixed together and users will be able to deal with them as one farm. For example, users will be able to perform the refresh process for all the farms at the same time. This will hide the complexity of dealing with many farms by having the user to focus on applications rather than where they reside.

Widget’s self-contained ability mimics cell phone behavior

Now, users will not deal with all the pop-up windows that appear in the sides and under the Widget. Extentrix Widget 2.0 for Citrix XenApp wraps many bars into a single smart bar that keeps every thing contained inside it. Inside the smart bar, users can open all the bars that the Widget provides and they can easily move between them with a switch button. Also, all the Outlook pop-up windows as well as the RSS Feed window will be contained inside the Widget’s frame in a neatly organized fashion.
