Alaa Yousef joined Citrix in
1997 as a Senior Software Engineer with overall
responsibility for MetaFrame Presentation Server
running on Microsoft Windows NT, 2000, and 2003. As
a team lead, Mr. Yousef architected the successful
port of MetaFrame to Windows 2000 and contributed to
the high level design of MetaFrame XP. Mr. Yousef
left Citrix in late 2006 to start Extentrix Systems,
FZE.
Mr. Yousef holds a bachelors degree in computer
science from Kuwait University where he developed a
complete Arabic BASIC programming language while he
attending his graduate studies. Mr. Yousef has also
worked as a Senior Software Engineer for Lead Technologies
in Charlotte, NC, Corel in Ottawa, and Command
Software in West Palm Beach, FL.
